All too often conflict arises in our life and the most natural responses are to fight or flight. There is a middle road though which allows for more win-win solutions. This occurs when assertive communication takes place between the involved parties. In fact, when this type of communication occurs, conflict can and does serve a beneficial role for all those involved. It allows us to become a more understanding and tolerant people. In addition, conflict can be a great point for personal growth and affirmation. Truman State University Conflict Resolution and Mediation (CRAM) employs many different techniques in helping conflict at Truman State University and in the Kirksville area become a positive force.
For a list of these ways please click on the services link at the top of the screen.
